2018 American Craft Exposition
Wingless Birds with Antique Bases
Textured and painted gesso on poplar, or charred, bushed and waxed cedar, glass bead eyes. Mounts include cigar boxes, antique baking soda, candy, baking soda tins and more. 8″- 14″ long.
Perched Birds
2006 to present. Hand carved painted pine birds. Perches include dry brushed beech with a cedar base, antique blocks and jars. Similar pieces available. Photos by Alex Bee.
